Twisp
This eclectic short-lived gold boomtown, located at the confluence of the Twisp and Methow rivers,
is a sunflower capital that has four seasons of recreation. Enjoy mountain biking, hiking,
horseback riding, skiing, snow mobiling, river rafting, hunting and fishing. Local down hill
skiing is just 10 minutes away. As the largest town in the Methow Valley, Twisp is where many
local artists, musicians and writers exhibit their talents. Throughout the year, you can enjoy
art exhibits at a number of local galleries, as well as live music, dining, shopping and a
summertime Farmer's Market that runs from April through October.
