Travelers looking for friendly lodging will find themselves right at home in one of our 17 rooms at the Chewuch Inn, with 6 standard rooms, 5 fireplace rooms and 6 cabins to choose from. Our rooms are well appointed and have beautiful linens with down bedding & complimentary wireless Internet. Each room is decorated with clean lines, characterized by the Northwest. We are just a short walk to the wooden boardwalks of the "old west" town of Winthrop, offering unique shops, galleries and dining experiences. Our location, along with our knowledgeable staff, is a perfect base camp for all your outdoor activities.

In the evening, tea, cocoa & cookies are available in the Great room, during the winter months we serve a crock pot of mulled cider. Our complimentary full buffet breakfast is a delicious way to start your morning. Guests are able to relax in the sitting room with a Tv/Vcr, Satellite Tv & video library or enjoy a game or book in front of the fireplace. Our five acres of property is dotted with Aspen and Ponderosa pine trees, there is also a seasonal creek which attracts a wonderful assortment of local birds & wildlife. The large patio with picnic tables is next to the outdoor spa, a favorite spot for star gazing into the clear mountain sky. From November to March we are covered in a blanket of snow and you can enjoy world class x-country skiing on 200k of groomed trails. The trail head is just across the street from us along with the new ice skate complex & state of the art Gym.

The historic Methow Valley Inn in Twisp, dating from 1912, waits for you to discover it’s comfortable grace and charm. Lovingly restored, beautifully maintained, immaculately clean, and famous for it’s infamous past...yes it’s true.

This historic Inn serves comfort, from the great room with its massive stone fireplace and warm cozy chairs, to our hearty and healthy full breakfast in the sun room, all in the ambiance of past.

Guests are all greeted by music and a crackling fire in winter, or beautiful gardens in the summer by award winning garden designer Melissa Larson.

We serve a multi-course, healthy, hearty breakfast with homemade jams, chutneys, and home-pressed apple juice, included with your lodging reservation. We like to surprise our guests with special treats from our large organic orchard and garden. Expect to see berries, fruits, and vegetables in season.

Each of the seven guest accommodations is individually appointed, with handmade iron beds piled deep with European style comforters to snuggle under, hand-crafted quilts, and down pillows. and wood antiques. Four rooms have private tiled bathrooms/showers, and three share a tiled full bathroom. In addition, the rooms all have pedestal sinks. The tiled bathrooms boast comfortable fluffy towels and spacious walk-in showers. You can always look forward to fresh flowers in your room and books to curl up with. All rooms have Air-Conditioning.

A large, cozy TV room/library, with an extensive collection of videos to enjoy, is available to guests. The popcorn is on us.

The Twisp River Inn is located on the Cascade Loop, just 9 miles from downtown Twisp, in the heart of the Methow Valley. Our log home is full of warmth and hospitality, on 11 acres, in a spectacular mountain setting adjacent to the National Forest.

Come enjoy the four-season recreation the Methow Valley has to offer, or just sit on the deck and enjoy the view! In summer take cool dips in the many swimming holes of the Twisp River, hike in the beautiful mountains, or fish in the many lakes just a few miles away. In winter we are only 2 miles away from a snowmobile park.

The massive stone fireplace in our great room is the perfect place to visit with friends and fellow travelers. A full home-cooked breakfast awaits you, and is made with many fresh local and organic ingredients including some from our own garden.

We love horses! Our corral is made available for guest horses and there are amazing riding opportunities right from the front door.

We also make our kitchen available to guests (for a nominal $5 fee).

Guests can enjoy a fire-pit and BBQ down by the river. Firewood is provided but bring your own charcoal.
